No. Arganon has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or phone number. Favourites, downloads, your playlists and your chosen theme are all saved on your device.

Yes. Every mezmur, every liturgy and every download is free for everyone.

A few actions show one short ad first: saving a hymn for offline listening, downloading a whole category or a liturgy, setting a ringtone, publishing a playlist, and exporting from ተግባር. If an ad can't be loaded, the feature opens anyway. These actions do need an internet connection.

Android phones and tablets through Google Play, and iPhone and iPad through the App Store. On tablets the hymn list and the open hymn sit side by side.

The app itself is in Amharic.

Open a hymn and tap the download button. Once it has downloaded, it plays with no connection. You can also download a whole category at once from its page.

On Android you can additionally save a copy into your phone's Download/Arganon folder. On iPhone and iPad downloads are kept inside the app and are excluded from iCloud backup, so they don't use your iCloud storage.

First check your connection: hymns that are not downloaded are streamed. If a downloaded hymn won't play on Android, open your phone's Settings → Apps → Arganon → Permissions and allow Music and audio; without it the app cannot read the file and streams it instead.

If it still won't play, open the hymn, tap ⋮ and choose አስተያየት to tell us which one. We can reply to you through a notification.

Request it. Open the ማስተካከያ (Settings) tab and tap the music icon at the top right, then type the hymn's title and the singer. New mezmurs are usually published on Sundays, and the app notifies you when they arrive.

Open that hymn, tap ⋮ and choose አስተያየት. Your note reaches us together with the hymn it concerns, so you don't need to name it.

Open the ምድብ tab and choose የዘማሪያን ምድብ. Tap a singer to see every mezmur by them.

Three complete recordings with their full text: ቅዳሴ ሐዋርያት (about 2 hours), ቅዳሴ እግዚእ and ቅዳሴ ማርያም (about 49 minutes each). Open the ቅዳሴ tab and choose ሙሉ ቅዳሴ.

Yes, with the download button at the top of the liturgy's page. ቅዳሴ ሐዋርያት is about 175 MB, so Wi-Fi is a good idea. The download carries on if you leave the app.

Every shared playlist is reviewed before it becomes visible, to keep the app suitable for worship. It shows as በመጠባበቅ ላይ (waiting) until then. You'll get a notification when it is approved, or the reason if it isn't.

Open the playlist, tap ⋮ and choose ሪፖርት አድርግ to report it, or አሳታሚውን አግድ to hide everything that publisher has shared. Reports reach us straight away and are reviewed within 24 hours.

Arganon recognises your playlists by a random identifier stored on the device. On Android, reinstalling or clearing the app's data creates a new one. Email us the playlist's name and we can take it down for you so you can publish it again.

On iPhone and iPad the identifier is kept in the Keychain, so a reinstall on the same device keeps your playlists.

It removes every ad. That is all it sells: no hymn, recording, download or liturgy is held back from free users. Subscribers can also make longer cards and videos in ተግባር.

Premium is available on iPhone and iPad only.

Open ማስተካከያ → ማስታወቂያ አስወግድ and tap ግዢን መልስ (Restore). You need to be signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Arganon Premium, or go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. The subscription screen in the app also has a link to it.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Very little. There are no accounts. The app sends a random identifier, your device model, app version and a notification token so it can deliver notifications, plus anything you choose to send us, such as feedback or a published playlist. Ads are served by third-party networks under your consent choices.

Email mellossdev@gmail.com and include your app identifier so we can find your records: open ማስተካከያ → ስለ (About) and long-press the Arganon logo to copy it, then paste it into the email. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.

Where the law requires it, ማስተካከያ → የማስታወቂያ ፈቃድ reopens the consent form. On iPhone you can also turn tracking off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining only affects how ads are chosen; it never locks a feature.

The hymns and recordings belong to their singers, choirs and rights holders. If you would like a recording credited differently or removed, email mellossdev@gmail.com with the hymn's title and some proof of your rights, and we will act on it promptly.
